How do I know my fume hood failed the certification test?
Fume hoods that FAIL the certification are tagged Out of Service. The following sign is posted on the sash of the failed hoods. Please do not remove this sign and use the fume hood tagged out of service until repairs are complete and the hood is recertified by EHS. It is the responsibility PI and laboratory personnel to ensure the fume hood is working properly by making sure the hood has a certification sticker or if it was tagged out of service, to submit a work order through Aggie Works.
