Engineering Safety

Engineering Safety offers resources to assist Texas A&M faculty and staff with performing work in areas with potential hazards. These resources include checklists individuals may use when planning for work with specific equipment or tools, project safety analysis for documenting the hazards associated with a particular project, and training for those who are working directly with a specific tool.

The Engineering Safety Council, representing departments and organizational units of the Texas Engineering Experiment Station and Dwight Look College of Engineering, meets each semester to identify strategies and priorities for safety initiatives. As part of their activities, they assist EHS with accident/incident investigations and welcome near-miss reports from those within the organization.
