Stormwater Management
Protecting natural resources and ensuring effective stormwater management are essential components of the Environmental Health and Safety mission. Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4s) are monitored and assessed to keep them free from pollutants, with robust measures in place to prevent any prohibited or hazardous discharges that could harm aquatic ecosystems. Through the Stormwater Management Program, strict compliance with all applicable state regulations is maintained. This includes oversight of regulated activities such as MS4 operations, industrial operations, and construction projects.
