General Questions

Which Texas A&M campuses are supported by the College Station EHS office?

While our main administrative headquarters is located in College Station, the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) office provides comprehensive safety program support and specialized services to several additional locations. These include the Higher Education Center in McAllen, the School of Law in Fort Worth, and Texas A&M Health campuses in Dallas, Houston, and Kingsville.

We are committed to ensuring that the same rigorous safety standards upheld on the main campus are accessible to students, faculty, and staff at these regional sites.

Who should I contact for safety concerns at the Dallas, Houston, or Kingsville health campuses?

Each regional location has dedicated safety contacts to address local needs swiftly.

For specific inquiries at the Health Science Center locations, please visit our staff directory and select Additional Locations from the filter menu.

Does EHS provide the same training and resources to regional locations as the main campus?

Yes, EHS is committed to maintaining institutional safety equity. We closely collaborate with site administrators at the McAllen, Fort Worth, and Health Science Center campuses to provide access to essential safety programs, including laboratory safety, occupational health resources, and environmental compliance training.

Where should radiological shipments be delivered if they are intended for EHS?
Regardless of your primary office location, all Special Deliveries (radiological shipments) must be directed to our specialized handling facility. Please send these shipments to:
Environmental Health and Safety
1111 Research Parkway
College Station, TX 77845
This ensures that hazardous materials are received by certified personnel in a facility equipped for proper inspection and storage.
How should I report a safety hazard or environmental concern from an additional campus location?

If you are located at an additional campus, you can report non-emergency hazards using the same streamlined tools available on the main campus. We encourage the use of the Origami Portal for reporting environmental or physical hazards. For immediate after-hours safety concerns that do not require a 911 call, please contact the Communications Center at 979-845-4311.

In the case of a life-threatening emergency, always dial 911.
