In-Person Training
Looking for practical, instructor-led learning? Our In-Person Classroom Training offers an interactive environment to build confidence and ensure compliance when working with radiation sources.
General Radiation Safety Training
This in-person course covers the basics of radiation safety, state regulations, ordering radioactive materials, and scheduling waste pickup. It is required, by state law, for all Radioactive Material (RAM) users.

Veterinary Hospital Radiation Safety
This training is required by state law for all Veterinary uses of radioactive Material (RAM). This training includes nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapy uses at VTH. This is offered monthly and at the request of VTH.

- General Radiological Safety Refresher

This online course is a two-year refresher for users of radioactive materials (RAM) who have completed classroom training. All RAM users must complete this training every two years. Access the course via the EHS online training portal using your NetID and password. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate by email.Training Portal

This online course is required for all personnel using radiation-producing devices, such as X-ray machines, in the laboratory. It covers general radiation safety for analytical X-ray units and serves as a two-year refresher. Access the course on the EHS online training portal with your NetID and password. This training is specifically designed for users of electron beam accelerators used in research, development, and industrial operations. All personnel who intend to operate electron beam accelerators must complete this course. To access the course, visit the EHS online training portal and enter your NetID and password.
