General and Occupational Safety

EHS promotes General and Occupational Safety on campus to protect students, faculty, staff and visitors. Our Shop Safety program aims to keep all Texas A&M workshops up to code and the workers safe through proper training, consultation, and inspections. We also provide information and training for and have oversight of forklift safety, crane safety, fall protection, farm tractor safety, hot work permits, lockout-tag out, slow-moving vehicles safety, stage/production safety, and more.
